Martial Arts Documents

Aiki Jujitsu: Below are documents with information on the Zen Budokai system of Aiki Jujitsu that we practice at the Stanford Self Defense Class.
- An Introduction to the Stanford Self Defense Class exists in either HTML or Postscript or Adobe Acrobat.
- The Ground techniques from Zen Budokai in Postscript or Adobe Acrobat format.
- The White Belt version of Osoto Gari from Zen Budokai in Postscript or Adobe Acrobat format.
- Wrist Stretches and Strengthening Excercises (HTML). This was a joint effort between Roger Avedon and myself. Roger has taught these stretches out of his Aikido class to our class. I drew the pictures and he provided the majority of the text.

Reviews of Cardio Kickboxing Tapes Since the arrival of our second kid, I don't get out much anymore. To keep the rust off of my joints and to try to get some sweating done, I've been working out with some of these tapes, and what I have figured out I'll share with you. (For what it's worth.)

Gracie/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Related Information

Gracie Jiu Jitsu information page put together by Don Geddis. This has the information that he has been able to gather from sources both on and off the net over the past couple of years. A very worthwhile resource.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Techniques: (notes from a beginner). These are a small set of notes and drawings that I made to show what some of the important positions and techniques are all about.
Rickson Gracie Home Page. A web page that I helped set up with lots of information about Rickson Gracie. Rickson is the Gracie family champion and an all around nice guy.
Cesar and Ralph Gracie Information I get to train with these guys once a week. Here is a little bit of information on them. The page on Ralph is listed inside of this now. Also, this page is still under construction, so not everything is in place.

No Rules Tournament Images. The general sets of pictures of these events are now consolidated under one directory that Don has created. Many of these images are ones that I scanned for the UFC folks (UFC 5, 6 and 7). They were sent to me by David Isaacs (daisaacs@ix.netcom.com), one of the UFC producers at SEG. Most of those eventually wound up on the UFC Home Page put together by David A. Denis (denis@acsu.buffalo.edu).
